| Job Description | Responsibilities: • Lead Chemical Synthesis group activities at the Research Center in Bangalore, India. • Manage recruiting/training activities of talented staff with process/scale-up chemistry skill sets. • Evaluating program scientific progress and taking appropriate actions to achieve success. |
| Skill Required | Requirements: • Ph.D. or equivalent in Organic Chemistry. • 10-15 years of hands-on experience in leading teams involved in the process optimization / Scale-up in pharma/CRO. • A strong understanding of drug discovery and solid record of repeated success in discovery programs is essential. • Verbal and written communication skills must be outstanding. Skills: • Innovative, creative and strategic thinking. • Strong leadership skills and persuasive negotiating abilities. • Derives satisfaction from exceeding collaborators expectations and achievement of jointly held goals. • Strong problem solving skills. • Awareness of and sensitivity to ethnic differences across international collaborations. |
