| Job Description | We are currently looking for Software Architect for our Recovery management & Data Modeling business unit.
This position is responsible for defining the overall architectural design for small to mid-scale or moderately complex products or product families. Work with various programming and product team members within the company to create software products containing required features and modifications. Utilize extensive architectural knowledge of the IT Operations, Industry & the company’s Brand Solutions to accomplish goals.
• Gather and analyze technical specifications from clients, product owners and design team members, fully understanding requirements to ensure a high quality solution is produced that matches the customer requirements in terms of functionality, usability, efficiency, reliability, availability and scalability.
• Provide detailed designs based on requirements and identify and resolve design flaws early in design life cycle.
• Provide technical expertise in the diagnosis and resolution of issues, including the determination and provision of workaround solutions.
• Develop industry best practice documentation for using the company's solutions to improve the knowledge base for cross-brand solutions.
• Provide feedback and input to assist with development, marketing, implementation and quality of the solutions.
• Represent the company by attending, presenting and exerting influence at industry conferences, symposiums and standards bodies.
• Write white papers describing the company's innovations and directions.
• Create and provide training on Industry Concepts and Solutions.
• Design patentable technology and propose and review patent applications.
• Certify both high level and detailed design documents created by the Architectural Community. Determine the need for further review by other internal resources.
• Mentor, train and provide feedback to less senior development team members.
