HEAD OF INFORMATICS
The Head of Informatics will be accountable for the overall delivery of IT solutions and services to the research facility. This will be achieved through a strong partnership with the client organization and collaborations with our client’s IT staff. The Head of Informatics will partner with the research facility scientific and managerial leadership, both in the US and India, to develop and prioritize the portfolio of information management, process improvement, and capability development efforts required to support research facility objectives.

| Job Description | Responsibilities:
• Oversight of the overall IT operations of the research facility;
• Establishing relationships with research facility’s functional area leaders and Company’s IT staff to develop an aligned information management strategy between the research facility and US-based research sites;
• Implementing and supporting Informatics capabilities at the research facility.
• This is a localized position based in Bangalore, India with travel to USA.

| Skill Required | Requirements:
• A BS or higher in Science, Engineering, Information Management or related fields.
• At least 5 years of relevant IT experience
• At least 2 years experience in managing IT operations at a mid- to large- scale facility within pharmaceutical R&D.
• Experience in implementing and supporting scientific software and laboratory instrumentation.
• Demonstrable experience in leading business process improvement and technical capability deployment for at least one medium to large project.
• Knowledge of IT fundamentals and software development lifecycle models.
• At least 5 years of overall, relevant IT experience.
• An ability to build effective relationships with senior scientific business and IT partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
